The Funding Commitment module of the Handson system was designed to fulfill several main functions:
- facilitate the transfer of funding from the Dean's Office to H&S departments, programs and faculty and to non-H&S entities in the University
- facilitate tracking the use of Dean's Office resources (retentions, recruitments, salaries, etc.)
- facilitate projection of commitments of resources in future fiscal periods and support strategic decisions.
This user guide provides step-by-step instructions on navigating the system and accessing key features. It specifically focuses on locating and using processes within the Funding Commitment module.
The target audience is for HSDO Administrators, Finance, Faculty Affairs, and GUS teams.
