Troubleshooting: Duplicate Person Profiles Importing

Perhaps someone moved on from your unit, so you deleted their profile from your site. Then you noticed the Profile reappeared. This guide explains why that happens and how to fix it.

Deleted content reappearingMany H&S Drupal websites run importers to add new people profiles. When a person leaves your unit, you likely remove them from your site. Sometimes, they reappear.
This happens when you delete a Person profile from your site. The importer will notice that the person is no longer on your website and will re-add them. 
To prevent the person from continuing to pop back up on your site, simply "Unpublish" their profile rather than deleting it. 
Unpublishing a profileLog into your site. Go to the Manage Content menu and choose "Manage People."
Search for the person by name in the "Title" box.

Click the "Edit" button on the line of the person whose profile you wish to unpublish.

The person's profile will appear. At the top of the page, you'll see a toggle for "Publish." Ensure that this toggle is off and save.
