A research area is a special kind of content that acts as a collection of people who study a particular research field. For instance, the Stanford Economics website has research areas such as Game Theory or Macroeconomics.
Everyone who is tagged with a particular research area will be displayed on that research area page.
To create a new research area, hover over "Add Content" in the Shortcuts menu and then click "Add Research Area."
