Your site may have pages or sections of the homepage that list your courses, events, news and people. In Drupal, these are called views, and are typically something the web team will build for you.
Sometimes views are built in way that is editable for Site Managers. The argument field is used to change the content that is being shown on the view. In the example below, only people in the 2021 cohort are displayed. In future years, that could be updated to the current cohort year.

For help with the particular views on your site, please feel free to ask the web team by submitting a ticket.
