Handson is the Humanities and Sciences faculty information system, used extensively across the H&S Dean's Office and to a lesser degree H&S departments and programs. The system is used to support important faculty-related financial operations and strategic planning for many of the major lines of business for the School of H&S.
Logging in to Handson is handled the same as other university-wide applications. The user will be prompted to sign in through the Stanford WebAuth page, using two-factor authentication.
To request access to Handson:
On the Handson home page, the user will see the navigation bar. All users will see: Inbox, Home, History, All Operations, their initials/name (Preferences), and a logout icon.
The contains notifications on documents within Handson that require action or attention.
Your page is configurable to any module home page or the Inbox, in your Preferences.

The option displays as a side panel and lists records you've previously accessed. Clicking this will expand a list so that you can return to those pages quickly.
is the primary menu item from which to access all of modules within Handson. Users who have permission to view or edit a module will see it in the All Operations list.
You can access your by clicking on your initials/name. In Preferences, you can choose your Inbox notification settings, delegate workflow responsibilities to other users, view workflow responsibilities that have been designated to you, set your default home page, and view your organizational authority
The icon will log you out of Handson. You will be presented with the option of logging out of Handson only (Locally), or logging out of all Stanford single-sign on sessions (Globally)
