How to Find a Faculty Record: Simple Search & Advanced Search

How to Use Simple Search

1. Click All Operations

2. Click Faculty

3. Click into the Search for Faculty field to enter your search criteria. You can use the following search attributes:
  • Faculty's name (first or last)
  • SUNet ID
  • Employee ID

4. Once you've input your search text, click Search.

5. The results will appear in the Search Results section.**

6. Click the faculty's ID to open the record.

How to Use Advanced Search

    Click All Operations

    Click Faculty

    Click Advanced Search

An Advanced Search can be performed within the following categories. These categories map to the tabs/sections on a faculty record.
  • Demographic Info
  • Endowed Chair Info
  • Academic Appointment Info
  • Admin Appointment Info
  • Leaves Info
  • Salary Log Info
  • Spouse Info

    Once you've selected your search criteria, click Search.

    The results will populate at the bottom of the page in the Search Results section.

    Click the faculty's ID to open the record.

How to Export Data - Faculty Module

The instructions below assume a user has already performed a search using the Advanced Search functionality. For Advanced Search instructions, please refer to the  Advanced Search "How To" job aid .
    Below the search results, select Export to CSV.

On the Select Faculty Properties to Export page, you can select the individual fields you wish to export. Your options are:
  • Select All - this will select all fields from all available sections
  • Select All (within a section) - this will select all fields within a section.
  • Select individual fields within. across sections.

    Once you've selected the data you need to pull, click "Export" and the CSV file with download to your computer.
