H&S Drupal sites provide default meta tag information for all pages. We now offer the ability to override this meta tag information. This guide explains what meta tags are and how to add information to them.
Meta tags provide information about webpages to search engines, social media sites, and users.
Our platform already provides default meta tag information for all pages. The new functionality allows you to further control some of those details for your purposes, for instance, when the default image isn't the best representation of the article.
Meta tag information lives in the sidebar panel on the right-hand side of the editing interface. It is the fourth option in the list.

You can provide a custom page title of up to 60 characters to be displayed in search results or on social media. You can do so via the Meta Title override.
The meta description is a concise summary of the page, and can be up to 135 characters in length. This text may appear as a snippet in search results.
When your page is shared on social media, the image is automatically derived from the content. If you would like a different image to appear, you can upload one to the Meta Image section. Only one image is allowed.
